Troop 633 is a member of the Indian Waters Council, Capital Rivers District, of the Boy Scouts of America.  We have an active group of adults who support a Boy Run Troop.

What are the long-term objectives and goals of Troop 633?

Our goal as Troop Leaders is to build your son's self confidence, help him set goals, and enrich his values by teaching him outdoor skills related to camping, hiking, backpacking, first aid, survival training, outdoor tools, swimming, cooking and caring for the environment. Participation in monthly troop outings and other major events such as summer camp offer invaluable opportunities to learn and practice the full range of scouting skills.

We hope to assist you as parents in the personal development of your son by emphasizing physical fitness, a strong moral code, personal responsibility, commitment, loyalty, leadership, goal setting and serving others by living the Scout Oath and Scout Law.

What do we stand for?

Scout Oath
On my honor I will do my best
To do my duty to GOD and my country
and to obey the Scout Law;
To help other people at all times;
To keep myself physically strong,
mentally awake, and
morally straight.

Scout Law
A Scout is
trustworthy,
loyal,
helpful,
friendly,
courteous,
kind,
obedient,
cheerful,
thrifty,
brave,
clean
and reverent.

The Scout Motto

"Be Prepared"

The Scout Slogan

"Do A Good Turn Daily"
